§ 01 — Speed
You came home with two thousand photos. Marey opens them instantly and moves as fast as your fingers do — no spinners, no waiting for previews, no lag between one frame and the next. Culling stops being a chore you postpone.
§ 02 — Guided culling
Instead of judging every frame one by one, Marey walks you through a guided flow. It handles the obvious calls and brings you only the decisions that deserve a human eye.
01
Marey is confident about most of your shots. You only look at the frames where the AI isn’t sure — that’s where your judgement counts.
02
Bursts and similar shots are grouped together. Choose the keeper and Marey rates the rest of the group for you.
03
A last pass over what’s being thrown out, so nothing precious ends up in the bin. Rescue a frame in one keystroke.
§ 03 — Try it
This group was found automatically. Marey suggests a frame — agree, or choose another. Use your keyboard or tap.
§ 04 — AI scoring
Marey’s scoring goes beyond sharp-or-blurry. It looks at every frame, compares it with its group, and adapts to the photos you actually keep. The more you cull, the better its suggestions get — tuned to your taste, not to an average.
§ 05 — You stay in control
Nothing is final until you say so. Validate a rating with a single key, override anything you disagree with, and lean on tools built to help you choose — side-by-side comparison, a quick zoom to check focus, and the group always one glance away.
§ 06 — Auto grouping
Bursts, near-duplicates and similar scenes are gathered automatically into groups. You stop comparing frame 214 with frame 219 from memory — the candidates are side by side, ready for a decision.
§ 07 — Beyond culling
All your photos, every year of them, in one catalog you can browse at full speed. Scroll through a decade like it’s an afternoon.
A lightweight editor with the tools that matter — including advanced masking — so most photos never need to leave Marey.

§ 10 — Questions
Yes. Marey is sold on the Mac App Store for a single, low price. No subscription, no monthly fee.
No. All processing, including the AI scoring and grouping, runs locally on your Mac. Your photos stay yours.
Not at all. Marey works on its own as a culler, library and editor. If you do use Lightroom, you can import your ratings and edits, or export your culling results into it.
If you mainly sort, organise and do everyday edits on family, travel or hobby photos — very likely. If you rely on advanced pro features, use Marey to cull and keep your editor for the finishing.
Never. It suggests ratings and highlights doubtful frames; you validate or override every decision.
